Misan PME-114 series Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers are designed for Hydraulic applications upto 50kW and can be modified for Marine applications.
PME-114 series are structured as "Floating Head" and this structure provides higher resistance against thermal stresses by permitting the tubes to expand/shrink due to temperature changes.
Tubes to tube sheet leakage connection is utilized with tube expanding method.
The Capacity and Pressure Drop tables are developed for the 1 Shell pass- 2 Tube Pass(1-2 configuration) with Copper(Cu) Tubes based on the most accepted method-Bell-Delaware method. Internal design and material can be modified to match the requirements. For Marine applications CuNiFe or Cupro-Nickel(%90-%10) tubes are used, and the capacity can be accepted equal to the tables.
Fouling effect is neglected in the charts and velocity of liquids are accepted in ideal values. We welcome you to consult our engineers to specify the most optimal sizing for your application.
